Yingge Vocational High School was established in 1997. The campus covers an area of 4.75 hectares. This is the first vocational high school established by The New Taipei City Government (former Taipei County Government). With its aim to continuously inherit ceramic culture and art in the Yingge area, the school cooperated with the government to promote 12-year compulsory national education for extending vocational education so as to enrich human resources in the city. The departments in the school are configured with technology and art as the axes and guided with humanity. Located at ceramic center, Yingge, the school took the local industries and actual demands into account for establishing departments and configuring school business. The Department of Ceramic Engineering is innovative in the school and unique in the country. |
