School Introduction

01 History: 
The New Taipei City Government established the first vocational high school managed by the local government to follow the promotions for 12-year national education, mainly extending vocational education to enrich human resources in the city and continuously inherit the ceramic cultural art in the Yingge area.
02 The New Taipei City Government established Yingge Vocational High School Planning and Preparation Committee and Consulting Committee in July 1994 to start the overall planning for school. The first stage of school construction (Administration Building and Teaching Building) started in March 1996. Yingge Vocational High School Preparation Department was formally established in July 1996. Mr. Lin was assigned to be the director of the preparation department, responsible for the matters of establishing the school. In June 1997, it was approved to establish the school.
03 On August 1st, 1997, 4 departments were approved for establishments, and 4 classes were added (e.g. Ceramic Engineering, Fine Arts and Crafts, Advertisement Design, and Data Processing, 4 departments and 14 classes in total). On December 8th, 1997, additional Department of Computer Science and classes were approved. On December 24th, 1999, a continuing education program offering Advertising Design and Computer Science was approved. In 2010, a general class for sports was added.
04 Course Features:
Yingge Vocational High School, which provides with the features and professions, in terms of “Technology”, “Art”, and “Humanity”. We own not only excellent teaching environments and teachers’ professions but also enthusiasms and dynamics to face all competitions and challenges together.
05     Our school houses the Ceramic Technology Talent Development Center, Metalwork Enamel Creative Development Center, and Digital Creative Product Design Center. We offer a diverse range of specialized courses, collaborating with experts from academia, professors from technical colleges, and industry professionals to provide a comprehensive education.
    For example, our Ceramic Enginevuuering program offers courses in “Ceramic Creative Product Manufacturing,” while the Fine Arts and Crafts program covers “Glass, Woodwork, Metalwork, and Wax Sculpture Crafts.” The Advertising Design program includes “Artistic Creation Projects,” the Information Technology program features “Internet of Things and Smart Control,” and the Data Processing program includes “Big Data Analysis and Personal Finance”
    Furthermore, we foster partnerships with local businesses to ensure our students inherit and carry forward unique and professional traditional craft techniques.
